A night at the theater is a good night indeed.

Visit the Alberta Bair Theater for a performing arts experience you won’t forget.

The theater has been an integral part of the cultural scene in Billings for over 80 years. The ABT started as a space for community members to put on benefit concerts and local performances. The theater may have been smaller than it is now, but the elegant design of the building has never been changed. When the current owner decided to renovate the theater, he was adamant about keeping the breath-taking art deco decorations and the sparkling chandeliers.

The theater is worth seeing for the incredible architecture alone, but the space is now the largest, fully equipped performing arts center in the region. The theater could be described as the best of both worlds, marrying history and technology.

The real reason people flock to the Alberta Bair Theater is, of course, the performances. The theater hosts everything from professional touring groups to local performances of all genres.

If you are a country music fan, you should check out the Riders in the Sky on June 21. The group has accumulated two Grammy awards and have a featured song in Toy Story 2!

And if you are a musical Theater buff, don’t miss out on Chicago coming November 10 and 11, and Spamalot on March 6!
