For the 46th year, Symphony in the Park offers the community of Billings the biggest way to discover music. Live, symphony music takes to stages around the city throughout the summer, but the main event is June 24th. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, and get ready to enjoy a night of music beneath the Montana sky. Vendors will be on site dishing up the most delicious treats in town, and this family-friendly party in the park is a festival you won’t want to miss.
The fun begins with an instrument petting zoo at 4 p.m. where concert-goers of all ages can see, touch, and play with the variety of instruments that make up a symphony. The Billings Community Band Concert gets the party started at 5 p.m., followed by the Young Conductor’s Contest at 6:45 p.m.
A Night to Remember
The Billings Symphony takes to the stage at 7 p.m. Get your $10 wristband at the BSO&C office in downtown Billings (2721 N 2nd Ave N. Park in the “senior high parking lot” at the local high school, and a golf cart will take you to the heart of the event. Check the symphony’s site for more events and chances to hear performances throughout the year.
