Dos Machos was one of the first Mexican restaurants in Billings, and the quality of the food is one of the major reasons it’s lasted so long.  Try the shrimp El Verde, shrimp and rice in a spicy cream sauce – it’s absolutely delicious and an excellent go-to dish.  If spice isn’t your wheelhouse, try their Mexican take on stroganoff, with cilantro cream sauce and onions and mushrooms over rice – it’s much milder than the El Verde but still delicious.

Fiesta Mexicana

This restaurant is known for their blue margaritas, but their food is just as noteworthy.  Their chicken mole is spot-on, with the perfect balance of spice and sweet in the sauce, or they offer a pork green chili with a spicy tomatillo sauce that always hites the spot.

Guadalajara was built from the ground up by the Nuno family after they traversed the West from Mexico to settle in Montana.  Bring friends and enjoy the Big Sky Super Dinner, which lets you sample a variety of entrees, or try the Super Mucho Burrito, which is stuffed with a chile colorado.

Taco Del Sol

Taco Del Sol is a Cali-Mex place with some amazing tacos.  Try a variety of tacos, like their smoky Cuban or the light and fresh fish taco, then round it out with chips and salsa, and a side of rice and beans.  You’ll walk out full, but not weighed down.

Try one of these delicious restaurants for some spicy food to warm you up this winter!
