Ciao Mambo

Ciao Mambo is an adorable Italian bistro serving up classic dishes in a comfortable setting.  Their pasta Ravenna comes in a creamy garlic sauce and contains chicken, artichokes, and mushrooms for a delicious, comforting, springtime dish.  For those who like a little spice, the gamberi fra diavolo balances garlicky heat with fresh shrimp and tomatoes.  Order a glass of their house wine to compliment the dishes.

Bistro Enzo

For over 20 years, Bistro Enzo has been bringing European cuisine across the water to Billings.  The menu changes seasonally to accommodate fresh ingredients, but the dishes are always delicious.  Their carbonara is perfectly bold and creamy, or try a Wise Guy pizza with artichokes and salame for a taste of Genova.  Don’t skip dessert – the molten chocolate cake is topped with a rich cappuccino cream and bananas.

Juliano’s

Juliano’s is not strictly an Italian restaurant, instead featuring dishes influenced by a variety of other cultures, but their Italian plates are stupendous.  Their fettucine is served in creamy butter sauce with fresh fish, walnuts, spinach, and artichoke hearts.  Finish the meal with rich peanut butter mousse topped with torched marshmallows.
