The biggest event of the year is coming up and you’re not going to want to miss it!
Chinook Fest is a 3-day country and folk music festival in Jim Sprick Community Park, set against a backdrop of the nearby mountains. We’ll tell you everything you need to know, including where you can get your tickets!
There are so many artists playing Chinook Fest, from national acts to local bands or singers. You may have heard of The Cadillac Three (“The South” and “Party Like You”) or Stoney Larue (“First One To Know”), but you’ll find new favorites in Hannah Dasher (“Drinkin’ Out Loud”), Kara Hesse’s folk-style take on classic covers, and Yakima-bred American Honey Band – Audre has some serious vocal talent!

If you manage to find time between watching some amazing bands, there’s plenty of other activities at the festival to do. There’s hiking, of course, morning yoga and singing bowl sessions, and a variety of outdoor games, from cornhole to lawn golf. Additionally, there will be plenty of food trucks and beer and wine vendors on site for you to try.
While you can camp on the festival grounds, Ledgestone Yakima is not only offering discounted room rates for Chinook Fest guests, but is also providing free shuttle service from Yakima to the park. Whether you choose to stay at the campgrounds or the hotel, book your accommodations early, as everything fills up fast.
