The attractiveness of Nevada’s most populous and largest city, Las Vegas, frequently overshadows the state’s stunning scenery. Discover Nevada’s stunning natural landscapes by visiting its cities and towns. Prepare a trip itinerary and refer to the lists below for inspiration.

Lamoille Canyon

Lamoille Canyon is located in Elko Country, Nevada, in the Ruby Mountains. Witness the wildflowers abound in the alpine meadows during summer. This destination is also renowned due to its biodiversity. You will see bighorn sheep, mountain goats and birdlife in the hills and fields.

Visit the Mount Charleston

Mount Charleston is in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, 35 miles north of Las Vegas. This place allows its visitors to experience skiing in the morning and swimming in the afternoon. You can also enjoy wildlife viewing, mountain biking, camping and picnics while in the area.

Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park

The Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park and the Spooner Backcountry are large recreational areas. Spooner Lake is an excellent spot for a picnic or some catch-and-release fishing in the heart of the forest. The Tahoe Rim Trail, which runs along the summit of the Carson Range, is one of the most stunning (and typically reserved) paths in the area.
