Machi’s is a delicious place to get dinner in town.  It’s a simple bar and grill with an extensive wine list, and some of the best prime rib you’ve ever tasted.  Get it on the bone to squeeze out every last bit of flavor you can.  Their Caymus Cabernet matches well with the dish, if you’re in the mood for wine.

This restaurant serves up interesting fusion dishes from American and Basque cuisine.  For breakfast, try their Basque omelet with chorizo and marinara sauce, or come for dinner and order the Sarandeado prawns.  You may just try some of their combinations in your own kitchen!

Blue Moon Sushi Bar

1430 Idaho St, Elko, NV 89801
Website

If you’re in the mood for Asian food, Blue Moon is the place to go.  The all-you-can-eat sushi is well worth the price.  The King Kong roll is excellent, but you’ll really fall for their Sea Color roll.  If you want something other than sushi, their Coconut Shrimp is absolutely perfectly done.

This Mexican restaurant is open 24 hours a day, so you can always get your fix.  The camarones rancheros are one of the best things in the menu, but if you’re not in the mood for shrimp, try one of their burritos.  They’re big, filling, and smothered in delicious sauce.  Don’t forget to order queso dip for the chips!
