Montana loves to show off their patriotic spirit!
Choose one of Billings’ events to attend on Thursday and celebrate the 4th of July in the Big Sky state!
Celebrate Freedom! at Castle Rock Park
Enjoy horseback riding, laser tags, putt-putt golf, and a water slide as just a few of the fun family-friendly activities at the Celebrate Freedom! festival! Simple, all-American food will be available as well, from hot dogs to snocones. And if you need a break from the rides and games, enjoy a live concert or the magic show. The event wraps up with a fireworks display, as is required for any 4th of July celebration.
4th Of July Celebration In Laurel
Just 20 minutes outside Billings, Laurel is having it’s own Independence Day celebration. The event starts at 6 AM with a pancake breakfast, followed by parades, food, activities, and, at sunset, fireworks. If you’re traveling with small children, this event ends earlier than others and may be the best option, so as not to delay bedtimes.
Roundup Independence Day Extravaganza
Roundup’s four-day event starts with a parade, followed by the rodeo, in case you wanted to see some amazing cowboy riding, reminiscent of America’s Old West days. Each day finishes with some live music – The Georgia Satellites(“Keep Your Hands To Yourself”) on the 4th, High Country Cowboys (“Lawman”) on the 5th, Lonestar (“Amazed” and “No News”) on the 6th, and Cowboy Church on the 7th.
